Jomo Sono Interested in Kenyan Players
September 7, 2008
South African Soccer millionaire Jomo Sono is interested in at least four players from the Kenyan National side, Harambee Stars. Thanks to the live transmission of the Kenya-Namibia match by Supersport, many people around the continent managed to catch the action live on their screens.
Reliable sources indicate that immediately after the end of the match, Mr Sono made a few phone inquiries to Kenya about the players in a bid to establish their current Clubs’ status. It is said that Mr Sono was so impressed by at least 5 players who turned out for Harambee Stars. The match was televised live by Superspost and KTN.
There are even more chances of more players catching the eyes of international scouts as the team has virtually progressed to the next and final round of World Cup qualifiers.
