Life Skills Programs
As young football players often get trapped in many outfield problems KISE discusses with the children issues affecting them in their daily lives and how they can overcome difficult situations they may be confronted with now or later on. These are the KISE Life Skills Programmes. Parents and guardians are also invited to join parts of the programme as we believe they play a crucial role in their children’s development and the kids have to learn to listen to both the parents and the coaches.
A closer link with the schools of the respective kids takes this bonding even a notch higher. We encourage the kids to work hard and perform well in school and hold discussions too with head teachers of various schools to work on modalities of balancing school work and football. All this interaction helps to form a good understanding between the ‘parties’ involved. It also helps to encourage the kids to feel that both their parents and society takes good care of them and that life is more than football.
