Education Programmes

There is a lack of real opportunities to improve knowledge and skills in football coaching. In Kenya, for instance, courses are mainly conducted in Nairobi, which locks out many coaches from upcountry who for various reasons cannot travel to Nairobi. There are private individuals who offer coaching courses but they are often either overstretched or do not offer quality courses.

There are also no logical follow-ups or build-ups in courses to the next level in terms of knowledge development. Thanks to KISE this situation will change as we offer quality (follow-up) courses at various levels and at very affordable rates. KISE will continue to offer courses outside Nairobi and outside Kenya , also in co-operation with Kenyan and international partners .

As young football players often get trapped in many outfield problems the modern football coach and also the sports administrator can be confronted with all kinds off the field situations that require his/her ‘direct’ attention. Equipping modern coaches with skills to help them deal with players in a broad sense is essential.

Incorporated in Coach Education Programmes we educate coaches to be more competent in dealing with general challenges that affect the modern youth player. KISE has consultants who specialise in this subject and they are always invited at particular points in our trainings to discuss this subject.
